Yellowstone
We made it from Capitol Reef to the northern edge of Salt Lake City by about
9 p.m. and checked into a motel. Next morning we forged onward. We decided
to put some miles between us and SLC before breakfast, so we drove for a
couple hours before stopping in a rustic little town for some eggs and
hashbrowns.
Breakfast was wonderful and enormous. No room left to
sample the ho-made pies, which looked superb.
At last, we made it to Yellowstone, where the buffalo (bison, actually) roam
anywhere they want.
Considering their size, it's not surprising.
We saw many dozens of baby bison
