Saying goodbye to Costa Rica



After Quesada, the road climbed into the clouds, and visibility was poor.


This tipped truck was a reminder about the risks of being careless when driving in dense fog.


Once we made it over the mountains and started heading down into the valley where San Jose sits, we moved out of the clouds and into a sunny zone where coffee farms lined the steep slopes of the surrounding hillsides.
