Career Highlights 2004 - Present Global Product Manager Natus Medical Incorporated San Carlos, CA 2001-Present Independent Information Researcher
1997-2001 Director of Marketing / Product Manager As product manager in the broadest sense, I designed and produced or directed production of all advertising and marketing materials and campaigns, served as webmaster of the corporate site and formulated trade show design. I was directly responsible for supervision of the software development team, designed program graphics to increase the aesthetic appeal of OIS WinStation software and continually worked to improve the feature set and performance of the program across all available Microsoft operating systems. I attended the Working Group meetings for DICOM to assist in bringing the OIS product line into DICOM conformance for digital imaging among all ophthalmic imaging manufacturers. As technology of computer based medical devices changes rapidly, I continually evaluated and recommended third party hardware components and software programs to complete and enhance the company’s product offerings and maintain a competitive edge. Technical support problems were often escalated to my desk when Tech Support options were exhausted. And as the first point of customer contact, championed the product and company to the ophthalmic medical community. Early on in this position I was tasked with streamlining the company’s product offerings and establishing catalogs and price lists that facilitated configuring a complex system more easily while dramatically reducing the amount of catalog items required to fill our customer’s needs. I produced sales guides and training materials and both trained and assisted the sales force in closing sales. As the order administration department later came to report to me, I created and implemented new order entry and management reporting software. 1995-1997 National Sales Manager - Professional
