I found this image on the side of a sandstone wall as I headed up the canyon towards five faces
pictograph in Davis Canyon.
Shortly thereafter not far away, I discovered a shamans' rock in the
shape of a snake's head with a green cast to it on the sandy brown bottom canyon wash.
I always find the Utah Canyonlands area to be a place
where rocks speak in their own tongue, and grab ahold of your soul with their silent sound.
In the center of the circles, there is a image of a small head embedded in the rock. I suspect the circles were added later to complete the thought.
