Future generations must know, in no uncertain terms, the extent of the incompetence and mendacity of the Regime of George W. Bush.
Hence, we hereby institute the Bush Regime Memorial Society. We will sponsor a design contest for a proper monument - a large-scale, permanent artistic installation (or installations) that will serve as both a reminder and a warning.
So to begin with, we are collecting ideas and brainstorming. Here is an example - they don't have to be fully realized or very complex:
A statue modeled after the famous painting of "Washington Crossing the Delaware" - but Washington and his crew are replaced by George W. Bush and various members of the Bush Regime - and there is a large fountain spouting forth in the middle of the boat.
It is a sure bet that the attempt will be made to rewrite the history books and try to cast this Regime in a favorable light. Let us dedicate ourselves to making sure that attempt never succeeds.
