The idea with the Plausible News Service is not just to be satirical --
that is already well-handled by The
Onion, SatireWire and others.
The goal here is to hit that perfect balance between what might be and
what is, enough to not immediately strain the credulity of the reader.
This isn't a completely original idea, of course. As one might expect,
there are other writers and sites that are interested in exploring this
particular gray area...
