Sources for WTO Coverage

• www.indymedia.org is putting up stories, audio, pictures and video. Wired News has a story on how it was set up
• freespeech.org which developed the system indymedia.org is using, is putting up programs being made available daily by satellite to public access and PBS stations.
• Corpwatch and Making Contact are producing World Trade Watch, an hour long radio program carried on many community radio stations - it is available on both websites in real audio and broadcast quality MPEG.
• Democracy Now is doing daily hour long programs which are carried on Pacifica and community stations and online in real audio.
• FAIR and mediachannel.org are providing media criticism. FAIR has a page on trade and you can sign up for email alerts. Larry Bensky looks at coverage leading up to the WTO for mediachannel in Pay No Attention To The Masses Behind The Curtain.
• WTO Watch has a multimedia page with interviews, documentaries and teach-ins.
• Doug Henwood, editor of Left Business Observer, is providing reports on the WTO.
• KGW, a news channel in Seattle, streams live on the net. Their coverage is often atrocious, but it does give you a sense of what is going on.
• The Nation did a special issue on the WTO. Mother Jones also has coverage.
