The Future Is In Your Face!
Introduction:
"Was this the face that launched
a thousand ships. And burnt the topless towers of Illium?"
Why Dr. [Omitted] wanted to write this book
"The face is your passport through life, to success, to
adventure. Figures and physiques are important, but the face is
what people look at most. When referring to the 'thousand ships'
sent from Sparta to retrieve Helen from Troy and start the Trojan War,
Faustus speaks of the beauty of Helen's face, not her figure. The
face is from where people draw their first impression.
This book is about your face, your first impression. I wrote it
to help you make the best impression you can. In it, I will
explain the causes, effects, and solutions to the most common and
notorious elements attacking the skin: acne, aging, hormones and the
environment.
In addition, the adolescent years have been disregarded in the
discussion of caring for the face. Through puberty, teens are
becoming part of the adult world feeling hormonal changes, stresses,
societal pressures that have incredible impact on the face. We
will speak to the issue of teen facial issue in this book. I'm
sure everyone will find something of help in what follows."
Dr. [Omitted]
Purpose of this Book
In this book I discuss the causes of undesirable facial conditions,
aging, acne, skin irregularities caused by hormones, stress, nutrition
and the environment. I will reveal acne's notorious secret, which
I have medically patented as "Skin Diabetes."
I will share all of the steps necessary to address these skin
conditions and achieve optimal skin clarity and restoration of
youth. In this book is the information needed to terminate the
activities, reduce exposure, and eliminate foods responsible for these
conditions. Finally, I will discuss the secrets to repairing and
reversing
existing damage.
Since puberty is a strong trigger of hormones which often cause many
skin conditions during a time when being attractive is very important,
this book those specific hormonal problems.
Some of the causes to skin conditions are beyond our control. But
we do have some control over some of the causes.
Europeans are known for their stereotypical flawless complexions.
Few Europeans suffer from breakouts, or premature aging, even though
they are known to indulge in foods and habits we normally associate with
poor complexion: croissants, heavy cheeses, and smoking. However,
the key is "moderation." Food portions are smaller, and
ingredients within their cuisine are natural, and free of chemicals
(harmful free radicals). Unlike the United States where food is
heavily laced with chemicals and hormones to increase
"production volume."
The slower pace of Europeans plays a role in their skin clarity.
They take their time eating, enjoying their meals, unlike Americans who
will wolf down a burger while running to the next event in a schedule
designed to insure they are late. Part of this overburdened
schedule is the stress it creates. Stress is a big
cause of less than desirable skin clarity.
The point is that the exterior and environmental stresses of American
life, combined with nutritional and internal imbalances, are reflected
directly through our faces. This can appear as unfavorable acne
breakouts, or as premature "weathered" and sometimes wrinkled
skin.
Who is Dr. [Omitted]?
Dr. [Omitted] M.D. is the founder and medical director of the [Omitted]
of Chicago. He has specialized in liposuction/lipotherapy, plastic
surgery, cosmetic surgery and related procedures since 1981. Dr.
[Omitted] has performed or supervised probably more
liposuction/lipotherapy, plastic surgery, and cosmetic surgery
procedures than any other American surgeon. He is recognized as a
pioneer in the development and use of new techniques in current use. He
has designed several of the modern surgical instruments currently used
in liposuction and fat transfer.
Educated at [omitted] Medical School, he is ingrained in the
traditional medical practices of cosmetic surgery, but feels he is not
bound by any restrictions those practices might impose on innovation in
the field of cosmetic surgery. Perhaps because he was raised in
Egypt, Dr. [Omitted] takes a holistic approach to cosmetic
issues.
The Future Is In Your Face is not Dr. [omitted] first book. His
book, [omitted], (ISBN [omitted], 1988) is one of the most respected
reference textbooks on Liposuction.
His medical affiliations include:
- Board Certified, International Board of Plastic, Aesthetic
& Reconstructive Surgery
- Board certified, American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine
- The American Medical Association (AMA)
- American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, Full Fellow
- The American Society of Liposuction Surgery

"Dr [Omitted] is aware of the most advanced technology and procedures
to deliver the best possible treatment to his patients."
-- Dr. Richard Caleel, past
president of American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery
"Dr. [Omitted] was very candid and he was very true to his word.
He didn't try to get me into his office. I would have no hesitancy
going through my procedure again. Most cosmetic surgeons will tell
you not to expect too much from results of the procedures. I
found Dr. [omitted] to be beyond a person's expectation in this
arena. He remains the doctor I would consult. Because I was aging
and because I do different TV things, I really couldn't be off of
television for a long time with a minimal risk and he did not under or
over estimate the risk."

How this book is laid out:
This book is segmented in the way you, the reader, sees
challenges for the face (Acne, Aging. etc...), not by procedure.
Most people reading this book wouldn't know if they need a Mesotherapy
or Derma Genesis procedure, so why segment a book that way. You,
the reader will know if you have an issue with acne or aging. So,
that's how this book is structured.
Each segment of this book will begin with an easy to understand
laymen's description of a challenge for the face and the symptoms
manifested by that problem. Following this will be an explanation,
again in lay terms, of the options available for counteracting that
specific problem, starting with the least invasive (non-surgical) and
most preemptive options, then moving toward the surgical procedures.
Following the lay explanation will be a "For Those Who Want To Know"
section with a more technical or medical explanation that at times will
include illustrations.
"Truly, THE FUTURE IS IN YOUR FACE. It's right, waiting for you
to step into it. So, let's take a look at how important your face
really is."
