Hi Jim, Just thought I would drop you a line and tell you how much I enjoyed your page. My name is Jerry Schwarz and I worked for your grandfather and remember him very well. I worked at Shelby American from 1964 to 1969 in the competition shop. You can see me in the picture of the competition shop where the Mustang "R" models are being made. I am at the back of the picture, under the Cobra sign at the trunk of a 350 on the left side. I was in charge of building the 350 "R" models and the racing Trans Am Mustangs. I was also Crew Chief on the factory Shelby race Mustangs, both "R" and Trans Am.
Jerry Titus was my #1 driver.
I have a lot of the same pictures in my collection, but your site brought back a lot of good memorys. You can read my interview in issue #51 of the "Shelby American" the Shelby American Auto Club's magizine.
Keep up the good work
Jerry
