While I was delivering books today at a toy store, two sold WHILE I was standing there! That's a great feeling as well! This may well be the most commercially viable thing I've ever done.... And the flea circus is pretty commercially viable, in its own flea-like way.

I'm now on the official Well Page of authors! Between Gans and Godwin... It's kind of funny, because I'm right next to Donna Atwood, who is the illustrator of the book. We just happen to be in the same relationship for our particular rows to work out (At least until some new person whose name starts with a B and then joins the well and writes a book.... I'm also now up to 47 stores! And I've had 3 stores re-order, which is remarkable, considering I just filled their orders on Tuesday and Wednesday (before Thanksgiving) I'm pretty psyched....

There's an official WELL page of authors?
Konsigliari Kafka of the Cosa Nozzo (kafclown) Mon 26 Nov 01 22:20
<http://www.well.com/bookstore/index.html> is the main page. <http://www.well.com/bookstore/morebooks.html> is the page I'm on. It's basically an Amazon affiliate store for the WELL. (not that there's anything wrong with that)

Well, hey, I never knew! And the list is definitely incomplete; for example Harry Henderson has several books published and was recently an inkwell.vue interviewee -- but is not listed! Anyway, congrats on getting listed!

As long as people listed don't knock me further down the list! Okay, my obsessive compulsive tendencies are showing...

I wonder who is in charge of maintaining that page.

Just a little bit of a brag-- I'm now up to over 60 stores selling the book, and by the end of the month I'll have done 8 booksignings. I picked it up yesterday and found it hard to put down, and I don't even use a Mac.

Hm. Maybe I should have recommended Topic #8. "Bragging Without End, Amen." ;-) <gail>, there's a boatload of WELL authors clamoring to get their names added to the list on the WELL Authors Page. <http://www.well.com/bookstore/morebooks.html> Is that list only for authors who have an inkwell.vue topic? If so, a clarification may be in order. This hue and cry is the direct result of words that I posted to the Mac conference. As always, I'm a source of confusion.

Not such a bad thing...confusion follows ignorance and precedes understanding. ;-)
Dodge (hnowell) Thu 26 Dec 02 09:34
But it's so nice to know we have a boatload of authors here on the well.
