BACDS dances are open to all, regardless of levels of experience. However, we do have one dance which is designated "for experienced dancers": the 4th Saturday English series at the North Fellowship Meeting House.
All this means is that you should have some experience with English dance before coming to this series. The basic moves--so called "dance vocabulary"--are not taught, and the 4th Saturday dances tend to be more involved than other English series'. The basic moves aren't difficult to learn; most dancers do fine as "experienced" dancers after their first evening at an English dance.
