1. The A-NZ economy can be considered in 4 inter-related quadrants:
 

Only the internal material economy (4) appears pretty healthy; what you make for yourselves, you can afford. Though in direct interpersonal situations, you do pay attention to each other, wider attention -getting in A-NZ (1) is not easily possible. That affects external attention-getting (2), which then adversely affects the status of A-NZ defined in money terms (3). So the strategy has to be primarily to use quadrant 4’s strength to improve 1 then 2, and thus 3, which ought to further improve 4 as well.

In other words, improving your internal attention economy should be a top priority.
