I call myself an agnostic, but it's self-descriptive, not a matter of conviction. My take on God is that he/she/it is the highest level of coordination that actually exists (in the universe). By coordination I mean essentially awareness + intention + influence. By highest I mean most encompassing in terms both of mass-energy and volume of space and also in the degree of penetration of that awareness and influence into the most detailed phenomena that are not everywhere identical, the details that comprise the evolution of events. If the reality were that this description applies to a human being, I would term that too trivial, and agree with the atheists that God does not exist, however I suspect this is not the case. Both the certainty with which the 'faithful' embrace their God (variously described) and that with which atheists reject the notion of God strike me as hubris.
