Thank you for all your letters asking for lessons in Goddess Spirituality, also called Celtic shamanism. I am just a shaman, so can't keep up with all the people who want to study with me. Mine is a pagan book of practical witchcraft, derived from Faerie Tradition.

I first worked professionally, as a spiritual counselor, in an old fashioned occult shop. There never were many of them and, despite the metaphysical boom of recent years, there are still not many traditional old cozy dusty weird and mysterious shops.

The store was in a black neighborhood and catered to practitioners of traditional voodoo, and college students who recently were moving into the neighborhood and discovering Wicca. I learned that these folks didn't need my high sounding spiritual theory or feminist rhetoric. They needed help with their everyday life: love, money, marriage, health! My book helps folk with those same important concerns, and is based on many years experience as a spiritual counselor and teacher of Wicca.

A special note to owners of occult or metaphysical stores: I like greeting store owners. Some folks may think you are just in it for the bucks, but I learned, from working in your stores, that you are on the spiritual front lines, helping folks with their daily lives instead of talking theory. True priesthood.
