I'm here. So what? Well, It's been a truely unique exp[erience. One event attended by over 200,000 people and no riots! I sampled new technologies, outrageously expensive food, the joys of human mud-bogging (Mudstock '94), moshing with Metallica and a pleasant expression of sexual egalitarianism (A woman smiling mischievously squeezed my behind and grabbed my crotch).
Drugs. That was the most noticeable similarity to the festival of 1969. There was a rather overwelming feeling of commercialism as expressed through Woodstock brand paraphenalia, corporate merchandising, and $11 pizzas.
The important thing to remember is that this isn't 1969 and we aren't the "Boomers." Regardless of the ancillary reasons for Woodstock '94, most people were here to share a good time and listen to some of the best bands around, all in one place at one time.
