mini-vita:
I completed a rigorous and rare seven year training to
become a Faerie (Celtic) shaman. I also graduated from New College of California
where I pursued
Shamanic Studies.
In 1986, I founded The 3rd Road, a San Francisco based school for Shamanism and a center for personal transformation, where I earned the dubious distinction of being a professional witch, one of what was only five in the States at the time. At my center, I not only teach but enjoy being a global villager by offering shamanic counseling / psychic readings by phone for folks all over the world.
In the early nineties I
received a mandate from the
Goddess to
use media to teach witchcraft (which meant that, instead of paying my way
traditionally through my services as a shaman, I now get paid a bit for writing.)
This media work includes my HarperSanFrancisco book on
shamanism, "Be a Goddess! A Guide to Celtic Spells and
Wisdom for Self-Healing, Prosperity and Great Sex which became available in stores as
of
Feb.1, 98, and is a do it yourself training in Celtic Shamanism, Faerie style. I
also appear on radio. I have hosted occult specials on ABC's KGO
radio; after priestessing a KGO Samhain rite for possibly 200,000 listeners, I'll
admit that it's hard to ground sufficiently after something like that.
