Abraham Lincoln said, “You can fool some of the people all the time, and
you can fool all the people some of the time, but you can’t fool all the
people all the time.” Although P. T. Barnum probably said it best,
“There’s a sucker born every minute.” A more recent wag modified the
sentence to read, “There’s a sucker born every minute — and two to take
him.”
