Washington Post media critic Howard Kurtz points out that at any other time, the collapse of Enron would have received a lot more coverage. "Nightline" is scheduled to take another rare break from war coverage tonight on ABC to focus on Enron. Last spring, "Backout" on "Frontline" had fascinating footage of Enron's high-tech trading floor. They have transcripts online of interviews with Enron executives Kenneth Lay and Jeffrey Skilling (who later resigned). There are also a bunch of enron related links a little ways down under Wednesday at Medianews.org. Friday, December 07, 2001

Wired News has a story on how KPMG is sending letters to sites that link to them (like I just did) without permission. Their site also still has a late 90s large flash intro. They obviously don't get the internet. Saturday, December 01, 2001
Today is World AIDS Day. Nearly 800 weblogs and journals are participating in Think and Link, posting information on links about AIDS. The Fray is devoted to stories about AIDS today. Creative Time is showing a video related to AIDS during the last minute of each hour on the large screen tv in Times Square. You can read more about The 59th Minute and watch the videos online. |
